Welcome to the Black Cockatoo, a charming café nestled in the heart of Kojonup, Australia. Situated at 143 Albany Hwy, this delightful spot is not just another pit stop on your journey between Albany and Perth; it’s a destination in its own right.

As you step inside, you are enveloped by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious venue, often bustling yet cozy, offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot for any occasion. Many guests have noted the cleanliness and comfort of the space, setting the stage for a pleasant dining experience.

The menu, while simple, is packed with flavor and freshness. Expect to find a diverse selection that caters to the tastes of many. Popular choices include their succulent Black Cockatoo Burger, which is a crowd favorite, and the Sweet Chilli Chicken Wrap, described as a delightful twist on a classic. For a light and refreshing option, their Quiche, Salad and Chips pairs perfectly with a freshly brewed coffee. And let’s not forget the crisp, golden Chips with Aioli that elevate any meal.

Your taste buds will thank you as you indulge in their Salt & Pepper Squid and the hearty Chicken and Bacon Burger. Those with a craving for something lighter can savor an Assorted Panini or perhaps a toasted sandwich to warm you up on cooler days. Of all the places to stop in Kojonup this has been our favourite so far. Nice spacious venue. Small, simple menu, but yummy food. Breakfast wrap and burger were great. Decent coffee and the bathrooms were very clean.

Came around lunch time and tables are almost full inside n outside. We waited pretty long almost 45 mins only to realize that there may be only one chef in there! Food is pretty good. We love the soup n bread toasted to perfection. Chicken wrap is on a sweeter note but very nice. Chips are yummy n batter crispy. Coffee’s hot n nice and our favorite is their wild berry with mint smoothieif u are driving from albany is this the next best thing to fill ur tummy with.
